Mary Berg, Board Member

Mary Berg is the Executive Director of Jefferson County Department of Human Services where she has served the community for 25 years. 

She is passionate about ensuring equitable access for all to the community influences of health (safety, food, stable housing, education, employment, transportation, behavioral/physical health care) for families and communities to thrive. 

Mary has led child welfare reform efforts such as Differential Response and Workforce Initiatives to enable Jefferson County to serve more children, families, and adults in their communities.  She has been active at the local, state and national levels providing leadership to strengthen families through partnerships to end conditions leading to poverty.  She currently services on the State of Colorado Human Trafficking Council.
