We're flipping the script on traditional fundraisers and inviting you to an event that won't happen on September 30, 2023. That's right, no need to leave the comfort of your couch or worry about RSVPs! 


What sets the Anti-Event Fundraiser apart is its focus on efficiency and maximizing the direct benefits to JPP families. By eliminating the expenses typically associated with hosting an event, a larger portion of the funds raised can go directly towards supporting the essential work of Jeffco Prosperity Partners (JPP).

How does an Anti-Event Fundraiser work?


Instead of hosting a physical event, the fundraiser will take place entirely online, leveraging digital platforms and social media to engage our supporters and collect donations. Forget about a cocktail hour starting at 5:30, and there won't be any speeches at 7 pm. You won’t need to purchase a ticket or new shoes or coordinate a sitter to watch the kids. Instead, you can relax, unwind, and spend time with family and friends.

Is there a minimum donation amount for the Anti-Event Fundraiser?

No! Your contribution, no matter the size, will have a meaningful impact on the lives of families in the JPP program.

Are donations made to the Anti-Event Fundraiser tax-deductible?

Yes, Jeffco Human Services Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization. All donations are tax-deductible. EIN 82-1885665

Can I create my own fundraiser to support the Anti-Event Fundraiser?

Yes! You can start a fundraiser on your Facebook page with just a few clicks or create your own Fundraising Page through Network for Good- we provide a toolkit with all the information you need to be a successful fundraiser.

How will the funds raised during the Anti-Event Fundraiser be used to support JPP families?


The funds raised during the anti-event fundraiser will be utilized to provide crucial support and services to JPP families. Here are some ways the funds may be allocated:

  • Education and Career Development: The funds raised can be allocated towards educational resources and career development opportunities for JPP families. This may include scholarships, training programs, GED support, or assistance with pursuing higher education. By investing in education and skill development, the funds can help families improve their employment prospects and achieve economic stability.

  • Basic Needs Assistance: Provide emergency financial assistance or support for basic needs such as housing, utilities, food, transportation, and healthcare. By addressing these immediate needs, the funds can help alleviate financial stress and create a more stable foundation for families to focus on their long-term goals.

  • Support Services: Additional funds can be allocated to enhance support services for JPP families. This may include counseling, case management, transportation assistance, or access to community resources. By providing comprehensive support, the funds can address the diverse needs and challenges faced by JPP families, helping them overcome barriers and achieve self-sufficiency.
