About us

Jeffco Human Services Foundation is a nonprofit, community-based organization created to promote innovations that move families from poverty to prosperity. We partner with initiatives that provide services and opportunities that enable Colorado families to thrive in our community.

We support programs like Jeffco Prosperity Partners (JPP) and additional innovations that directly impact local families and contribute to the resiliency of our community.

The issue: generational poverty

1 in 10 Coloradans live in poverty. That's more than 558,200 residents that lack the financial resources necessary to meet their basic needs.

Our solution to poverty

Jeffco Prosperity Partners (JPP) is a community, supporting families moving from poverty to prosperity. JPP uses a holistic, multi-generation approach to help students earn diplomas and parents reach self-defined prosperity.

JPP collaborates with community partners to provide programs that focus on financial literacy, family wellbeing, job skill development, health and wellness, education, and building social capital.

Moving from poverty to prosperity -
one child, one family at a time.

Rynn is a recent graduate of Metropolitan State University and received her bachelor’s degree in Social Work. The thing she is most proud of is her children.
